I've been extremely busy on my weekends off from teaching photographing awesome seniors!

We went to Winfield for these and I love this staircase!!

The railroad yard in Wellington can make for an interesting background! I love this black and white of this senior guy!
Loved the lighting on this image!
Her eyes are so blue!
The milo makes for a pretty background just before harvest.
This was one of my favorites with this senior guy... definitely shows his personality!

Boys of Fall

Football is a very special part of most guys' senior year! Kenny Chesney's song "Boys of Fall" reminds us all, football player or not, about our senior year of high school. Love these images I was able to get of these two special senior guys from Wellington.

Capturing the real YOU!

I love it when people want to include their pets in their pictures (I loooove my dogs!). This sweet senior brought along her dog and made sure to match! So cute!

I was excited when she told me she had a lime green four wheeler. I really like this picture!

I wish it would have been sunny for these but we managed to get some great shots anyway. The sunflowers were so beautiful and I love the pink shirt!

A special thanks to my wonderful husband who came out to help with these. It was good for Laney to get some fresh air anyway!

How am I so lucky?

Seriously...my seniors are GORGEOUS! I had so much fun tonight taking these. I know she is a beautiful girl, but when she showed up tonight I was so excited - her eyes are amazing!

She does smile and has the cutest dimples...but I love the serious face too!
Tried this new pose and I love it very much!!!
The right place at the right time is basically how to sum up the Harley photos! We were getting ready for the above shot and this guy rolled up on his Harley to go eat dinner and I mentioned it would be cool to take some pictures on his bike and my senior and her mom thought the same. So they went in and asked the guy and he was thrilled to let us borrow it! :) Brings back memories from when I used to ride (one summer, a while ago, before I got married and had a baby and became "cautious" about things!)

Recent Seniors

It was so much fun photographing this beautiful girl! She is a member of the youth group that Craig and I help sponsor. She looks so much like her mom and Shania Twain!! Stunning. This first pose is my favorite!

I went out on the lake with these guys to take some wakeboard/water ski shots of one of them and they got a little carried away posing on the boat. So, I decided to put this together for them. They also are members of the youth group.
So excited about this silhouette. He wanted to make sure I got the water fan!

Love the colors in this one! Such a pretty girl!

New Business Card

So, it is time I update my business cards because the last one featured maternity/newborn/children. Since I've been busy with seniors, that's what I want to feature. Here is the front:

You may remember those sweet little feet from baby Fisher over a year ago!!!

These are two options for the back...I will probably go with the one with fewer images as they will be hard to see printed on a small card. It was so difficult to choose which images to use as all of my seniors are so awesome!!!

My little girl, Laney Marie - 3 months

These last three months have gone by so fast! Laney is learning so much and interacting with us by smiling ALL the time, starting to laugh and she must be her daddy's daughter because she already talks a lot! :) When she's feeding, she sometimes will pause to just smile at us. It's so cute! Every morning when we go to get her out of bed, she looks over and gives us the biggest smiles. Laney rarely cries unless she's really hungry or really tired. She loves to snuggle and be rocked to sleep, which I love that she loves it! August/September can definitely wait to get here...I don't want the summer to end!

Lincoln - One Year

I was so excited when Marie asked me last week if I could do Lincoln's one year pictures. The last time I saw Lincoln in person was September when I did his newborn pictures. Lincoln is a very special boy and a miracle of God. The day before his newborn shoot I had found out I was pregnant with Laney. She is now 3 months old, so a lot has happened in both mine and Marie's lives since our last visit!!!

We took these in Eastborough Park in Wichita...beautiful older neighborhood that is very confusing to find your way! When I finally arrived, Marie got Lincoln out of the car and as I looked over at him, he looked at me and gave me THE cutest 2 tooth grin I've ever seen!!! It was so much fun taking his pictures!!!

I love his little feet in this next one.
Some of my favorite images capture the size of the child and special moments during this time. 
This image is kind of symbolic to me in the fact that Lincoln had major obstacles to overcome when he was born (because he was about 10 weeks early). He is a strong little guy and he has and will continue to make it to the top!!!

It's that time of year again...

SENIORS!!! I've been busy photographing seniors this summer and would love to have more!! They remind me of what it was like to be young...10 years ago - WOW! I can't believe it's been that long already for me. Anyway, these "kids" are awesome and were a blast to photograph! My favorite images are the close-ups that really show off their beauty. Enjoy...and I hope to be adding more soon!

Our first family photo!

Meet Miss Laney Marie! She was born April 13, 2010 at 8:43pm weighing 6 pounds and 20 inches long. She is sooo beautiful and so very loved! These images were taken by my good friend Dena Sorensen and myself. Dena was present for the birth of Laney and put together the most amazing and moving slideshow you've ever seen.

Valentine's Love - Engagement Session

Meet Erin and Elliot. They will be married this summer in Wichita. I met Erin through a mutual friend and Elliot happens to be from Wellington! Small world. We enjoyed a nice break in the cold weather for their session in downtown Wichita! Congrats to you both and can't wait to see you on your special day!
